Patient Teleconsultation Service Guidelines

DOWNLOAD and INSTALL to your specific device. (Android/IOS/Mac/PC)
for Teleconsultation GCash and/or PayMaya for payment channels
REGISTER FOR AN ACCOUNT Viber, PayMaya and/or GCash

Just follow the instructions provided by the application during installation.

For PayMaya, update your account to send and receive payments.
Step 3
SET A SCHEDULE
​
a. Contact Your doctor, or your doctor’s secretary through
Viber/SMS/Phone to arrange for a video conference. (Teleconsultation)
b. Schedule will be confirmed by your doctor or doctor’s secretary
and a link or an invite will be sent via SMS / Email / Viber.
c. Start the video Teleconsultation by clicking on the link or invite that
will be sent by your doctor SMS / Email / Viber.
d. End the video call after Teleconsultation.
Step 4
PAYMENT for Teleconsultation Service
Settle the Teleconsultation fee via PayMaya / GCash
(It is important to register to PayMaya/GCash before Teleconsultation.)
For PayMaya
a. A payment request from your doctor will be sent to you via SMS with the doctor’s name and amount to pay.
b. Click on the SMS link that you received if you are already registered to PayMaya, the link will redirect
you to the app where you can fill-out the required details:
• Enter the mobile number of your doctor and the payment amount.
• Under optional message field, indicate “Consultation of <patientname>“
c. Review the details then click “Send” button to complete the payment.
d. A notification will be sent to confirm the successful payment.
For GCash
​
GCash payments can be done by just transferring amounts from one GCash account to another GCash
account or PDMC / DOCTORS can apply for a merchant account in GCash so that customers can pay to
PDMC/Doctor(Merchant) and not use the direct money transfer of GCash.
Qualifications for Teleconsultation
The doctors of Pasig Doctors Medical Center has the discretion in deciding if their patients are qualified for Teleconsultation or not.

Below are the minimum requirements to qualify.
​
1. You have an existing doctor-patient relationship and have seen your doctor personally prior to the teleconsultation.
​
2. Your condition is not an emergency or does not require urgent medical procedure or intervention.
​
3. You do not require any assessment and/or diagnostic procedure(s) which can only be performed by the physician
at the point-of-care.
​
4. You can effectively communicate through the communication medium chosen by the physician. (e.g. Viber)
