Patient Teleconsultation Service Guidelines

Step 1

DOWNLOAD and INSTALL   

 

                        Viber Application for Teleconsultation

                         to your specific device.

                         (Android/IOS/Mac/PC)

REGISTER FOR AN ACCOUNT

​

Just follow the instructions provided by the application during installation.

Step 3

SET A SCHEDULE

for a Viber Video Call (A doctor Teleconsultation)

 

   a. Contact the PDMC HMO Department to secure electronic copy of Letter of Authorization (LOA).

 

   b. PDMC HMO staff will send you the scanned LOA form for signature thru email or Viber.

   c. Sign the received LOA, scan or take a clear photo and send it to PDMC HMO Department.

        Schedule: Monday to Saturday 8:00am – 5:00pm (Enhanced Community Quarantine period only)

   d. HMO Department will send the signed Letter of Authorization (LOA)

        to the specific doctor as requested by the patient.

​

   e. Schedule will be confirmed by your doctor or doctor's secretary

        and a link or an invite will be sent via SMS/Viber or email.

 

   f. Start the video teleconsultation by clicking on the link or invite that

      will be sent by your doctor sms/email/viber.

​

   g. End the video call after teleconsultation..

Qualifications for Teleconsultation

The doctors of Pasig Doctors Medical Center has the discretion in deciding if their patients are qualified for Teleconsultation or not.

​

 

Below are the minimum requirements to qualify.

​

1. You have an existing doctor-patient relationship and have seen your doctor personally prior to the teleconsultation.

​

2. Your condition is not an emergency or does not require urgent medical procedure or intervention.

​

3. You do not require any assessment and/or diagnostic procedure(s) which can only be performed by the physician

     at the point-of-care.

​

4. You can effectively communicate through the communication medium chosen by the physician(e.g. Viber)
